Optima Crewing Services

Crewing agency Optima Crewing Services was founded in 2002.

We have every reason to be proud of the results achieved.

During this period more than 9000 seafarers were employed through our crewing company including officers and ratings. Most of them have been working via our crewing for several times.
We provide our seafarers on general cargo, multipurpose, container, HLV and LPG vessels.
The agency’s activities are licensed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine (AG 507938 of 18.08.2011).

I have been working on contracts for a long time (I have survived more than one president in Ukraine)).
But I always work only through one Zaporozhzhia crewing company — Optima. There is no desire to change anything. There is real help here in everything: documents, clarifications to contracts, logistics, in general — a personal approach with understanding.

I’ve made 4 contracts as a Motorman from Optima Crewing Services Zaporozhzhia. The ships are good, new. I was on Dry Cargoes and Multipurpose. The salary is good (in euro), they pay without delays. The quality of food depends on the captain and the skills of the cook, but is generally acceptable. Tickets/working gear/tests are refunded upon the first salary. Overall satisfied. The company provides good working conditions, anything else is the human factor of the team.
